The US military announced the destruction of an IRGC command and control center
The American military destroyed command and control centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This was reported by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on the social network X.
It is noted that Iranian air defense systems, military airfields, missile and drone launch sites were also eliminated.
On the morning of February 28, the United States jointly with Israel launched a military operation against Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump, in an address to the nation, explained the American and Israeli strikes on Iran as a result of "exhausted patience" due to Tehran's unwillingness to abandon its nuclear ambitions.
Many cities in the Islamic Republic were attacked, including the capital. One of the strikes hit the residence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei; he did not survive. In response, Iran struck Israel and American air bases in the Middle East with missiles and drones.
