The United States is directly discussing peace settlement terms with Kyiv

US President Donald Trump is directly discussing with the Ukrainian side the terms of an agreement to resolve the crisis, including the issue of borders.
This was stated by White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt at a briefing.
"President Trump and his national security team are directly involved in negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his administration. Among other things, they are discussing where the border of Ukrainian territories will be after peace is established," Leavitt said.
Earlier, she noted that the US has never been closer to resolving the Ukrainian conflict than at present, and that Trump is making every effort to end this conflict.
Leavitt added that she does not intend to disclose details of the negotiations with Kyiv during the briefing, as the American side will announce the details immediately after Trump's phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 18.
