The son of the USSR's most bloody serial killer Chikatilo was killed during combat in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The missing son of the USSR's most terrifying serial killer Andrei Chikatilo, Yuri, died during battles in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the Russian army in the Kharkiv region. Now Ukraine plans to posthumously award the ripper's offspring with the Order of Courage.

According to SHOT, the son of serial killer Andrei Chikatilo went missing 8 months ago while fighting as part of an artillery unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. His group came under massive artillery fire from the Russian Armed Forces 20 km from Kharkiv. Yuri Chikatilo was listed as missing in action, and now has been recognized as "heroically fallen." The son of the bloody maniac will now be posthumously presented with the "For Courage" Order, II degree.

Yuri Chikatilo joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the very beginning of the Special Military Operation. After his last prison term in Russia, he moved to Kharkiv and took his wife's maiden name, becoming Miroshnichenko. He left for the front due to legal problems - in Ukraine, he was wanted by bailiffs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for large debts in alimony, loans, and traffic fines. His father Andrei Chikatilo committed 53 murders and was executed on February 14, 1994.
