The Pentagon announced the destruction of Iran's space program
Iran's space program was destroyed as a result of a U.S. and Israeli military operation.
As reported by TASS, this was stated by the head of the U.S. Northern Command, General Gregory Guillot.
In his opinion, Iran now apparently lacks the capability to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of reaching U.S. territory.
"Tehran's most realistic path to developing an ICBM capable of threatening the homeland (the United States) was most likely closed as a result of the destruction of its space launch program," reads the text of Guillot's opening statement prepared for hearings before the House Armed Services Committee of the U.S. Congress.
Guillot simultaneously serves as the head of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).
