The paintings of a famous artist are exhibited for sale in support of public television channels

In the USA, original paintings by famous artist and TV host Bob Ross will be exhibited at a public auction. Proceeds from the sale will go to support public television channels across the country.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to trt haber, the auction is organized by the "Bonhams" house, and 30 of Ross's works will be put up for sale on different dates. The first auction will take place on November 11, featuring the artist's paintings "Cliffside" (1990), "Winter's Peace" (1993), and "Home in the Valley" (1993). The total value of the works is estimated to range from 850 thousand to 1.4 million dollars.
The head of Bob Ross Inc., Joan Kowalski, stated that this initiative will continue the artist's dream of "bringing art to every home."
It is worth noting that in May of this year, US President Donald Trump signed a decision to end government support for public television and radio. This has placed many local media organizations in financial difficulty.
As a reminder, Bob Ross, with his program "The Joy of Painting," which aired from 1983 to 1994, instilled a love for painting in millions of people. His expression "there are no little mistakes, just happy accidents" still remains in the memory of many.
