The meeting between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Iran has begun in Yerevan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who arrived in Yerevan on his first official visit.
This is reported by Armenian media.
The ceremonial welcome took place at the Prime Minister's residence.
It is noted that an expanded meeting with representatives from both countries will follow, after which the Armenian Prime Minister and the Iranian President will make statements to the press.
Pezeshkian arrived in Armenia yesterday. Before departure, he stated that the key topic of his visit to Yerevan would be the discussion of the "North-South" transport corridor. He also noted that the "East-West" route could become an important platform for trade.
The Iranian President emphasized that the development of cooperation with Armenia in energy, transport, investment, healthcare, and tourism would be considered.
