Terrifying warning: A new earthquake may occur in Turkey
Turkey earthquake expert Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ercan made a statement about the tremors that occurred in the Balikesir province in Turkey.
BAKU.WS reports that he stated that in the last 3 days, tremors measuring 4.6, 4.2, and 4.7 magnitude were recorded.
According to the expert, previous earthquakes of 6.1, 5.1, and 5.0 magnitude also did not fully relieve the tension in the region. "The earth still remains heated, the remaining tension has not dissipated. A large earthquake would be a surprise, but buildings in Sindirgi are outdated," he noted.
The specialist emphasized that TOKI buildings constructed in the region are more reliable, and recommended that people relocate there as soon as possible.
