State Secretary of the Republic Detained in Dagestan

Secretary of State of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed-Sultan Magomedov has been detained.

As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by TASS citing the region's law enforcement agencies.

"Magomed-Sultan Magomedov has been detained," the agency's source said.

As previously reported by TASS citing the region's law enforcement agencies, searches were conducted at several addresses connected to Magomedov as part of an initiated criminal case. Searches took place at Magomedov's home and in his office in the building of the head of administration and government of Dagestan. The Makhachkala city administration reported that on Wednesday searches were also conducted in two departments of the city administration.
