"Photos of the Year" from National Geographic: the most "powerful" photographs of 2025 published

Every year, photographers and authors of National Geographic take hundreds of thousands of photos during their trips.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to foreign media, only a small part of them gets published, and a truly unique collection is selected for the "Photos of the Year" compilation.

These photographs cover a wide range of topics - from wildlife and scientific discoveries to touching human stories. They also demonstrate the diversity of modern technologies, including drone photography, hidden and underwater cameras.
