OpenAI plans to go public with a valuation of 1 trillion dollars

OpenAI is preparing for an initial public offering and wants to achieve a company valuation of $1 trillion as a result.
As BAKU.WS reports, Reuters has announced this with reference to several sources at once.
As part of the IPO, the developer of ChatGPT wants to raise $60 billion or even more. If successful, this would be the largest initial public offering in history. Currently, the record for the amount of funds raised during an IPO belongs to Saudi Aramco, which received $25.6 billion during its stock placement in 2019.
According to Reuters, OpenAI plans to file an application for an IPO in the second half of 2026, and the listing itself would take place in early 2027. However, the timing and amounts may change multiple times, Reuters notes.
