One of the world's heaviest people has died: 500-kilogram American woman

It has become known about the death of one of the world's heaviest people - American Mayra Rosales, who at a certain period of her life weighed almost 500 kg. The woman was a guest on Andrey Malakhov's program, the journalist was shocked by her life and death, reports "StarHit".

Rosales spent most of her life eating sweets and fast food, which her husband got her accustomed to. The woman was fine with everything, even when she became completely immobilized due to her enormous weight. She decided to radically change her life when she witnessed her sister beating her son. Mayra couldn't get up to intervene. Subsequently, the child died, and his mother was sent to prison.

Rosales had to take custody of her nephews. She decided to go to the hospital to end her excess weight. The woman was removed from her house with the help of a crane. Under medical supervision, she was able to lose more than 400 kg. She underwent stomach reduction surgery, as well as liposuction. The American woman shared her story on Malakhov's show.

The excessive weight that Rosales lived with for most of her time had a negative impact. Mayra was diagnosed with health problems, and in 2024 she passed away at the age of 43. It is known that sometime after the surgery, the woman started eating a lot again and gained 200 kg.
