The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become the most attacked country in the Persian Gulf since the beginning of the US and Israeli military operation against Iran.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is claimed by the British newspaper Financial Times (FT).

According to the publication, in just one day, on March 20, 15 drones and 7 ballistic missiles launched by Iran were detected in UAE airspace. The total number of recorded attacks on the country since the beginning of the conflict has reached 2,063.

As FT notes, UAE authorities have stopped publishing information about interceptions. At the same time, Dubai's airport and the city's financial center continue to be subjected to attacks.

A source close to Iran's leadership previously told the publication that the IRGC is striking hotels, airports, and other civilian targets in US-allied countries in the Middle East to make these places unsafe for American citizens.

The publication's interlocutor emphasized that Iran's oil-rich neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf will "face increased investment risk" due to the attacks. Investors will be afraid to invest in them, as these states are located near Iran, meaning their territory could be attacked by missiles at any moment.
