Messages forwarding ban to appear in Telegram
New experimental features have been discovered in the Telegram 12.5 beta for iOS, including content forwarding restrictions from private chats and intelligent reminder creation based on message text.
This was reported by the "Durov's Code" portal.
The first feature allows users to prevent contacts from copying, saving, and forwarding materials from private conversations. The setting is activated through the contact's profile in the editing section. At the current stage, the tool is unstable and undergoing testing.
The second innovation involves automatic recognition of time-related phrases. The messenger highlights dates and phrases like "today" or "tomorrow" in the text and offers to create a reminder with one click. In the case of group chats, the notification is saved in the "Saved Messages" section, which guarantees its delivery even when notifications are disabled or after leaving the conversation.
When these new features will appear in the stable version of Telegram for iOS, Android, and other platforms has not been specified.
