MEDIA: Trump intends to reduce world oil prices to 50 dollars per barrel

US authorities are working on a large-scale plan to establish control over Venezuela's oil industry. US President Donald Trump believes that the initiative will help reduce oil prices to $50 per barrel.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is according to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing sources.

It is noted that the plan proposed by the American side envisions full US control over the Venezuelan company Petroleos de Venezuela and includes the acquisition and sale of most of its oil production.

Recall that on January 3, the US struck Caracas, after which they captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
