MEDIA: Cessation of fighting in Ukraine may be agreed upon by the end of November
Washington is "about to" announce a major peace agreement with Russia to end the fighting in Ukraine, parties to the conflict may agree on a treaty by the end of the month.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is according to Politico, citing a high-ranking White House official.
"A framework agreement to end the conflict will be agreed upon by all parties by the end of this month - and possibly as early as this week," the article states.
Axios, citing American and Ukrainian officials, reported on November 19 that the administration of US President Donald Trump is secretly consulting with Russia to develop a new plan to end the conflict.
Supposedly, the US plan consists of 28 points and is "inspired by President Donald Trump's successful drive to make a deal in Gaza." According to the publication, the plan was discussed during the visit of the Russian President's special representative Kirill Dmitriev to the United States. The Kremlin, however, denied the development of a new ceasefire plan in Ukraine.
