Man died during hair transplant

In Vladivostok, a 31-year-old man died during a hair transplant procedure at a private clinic. According to relatives, the cause of death was anaphylactic shock, which developed immediately after the administration of local anesthesia.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the deceased's relatives, the story of what happened was told by his older brother. According to him, the man had long been concerned about his appearance and, despite his wife's pleas to abandon the operation, still decided to go through with the hair transplant. For a month, he prepared for the procedure and submitted the necessary tests, but no abnormalities were detected.

On the day of the operation, the patient's condition deteriorated rapidly after the first anesthesia injection.

"The doctor gave him an anesthetic injection - local anesthesia. And immediately after the first injection, he simply died," said the deceased's brother.

A dermatovenerologist stated that the most likely cause of death was anaphylactic shock. According to her, such a reaction is rare but requires immediate and well-coordinated actions. She also suggested that the clinic might have lacked the necessary medications for emergency assistance.

Relatives claim that a resuscitation specialist was present at the clinic at the time of the incident and tried to save the patient. An ambulance arrived about five minutes later, but doctors pronounced him dead. According to preliminary autopsy data, the cause of death is listed as heart failure.

The deceased left behind a three-year-old daughter. The family is awaiting the results of the medical examination and intends to file a lawsuit against the clinic.
