Kuwait declared two Iranian diplomats personae non gratae
The authorities of Kuwait have declared two Iranian diplomats personae non gratae and ordered them to leave the country within 24 hours.
As reported by Oxu.Az with reference to Reuters, this was stated in a press release by the emirate's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The decision was made amid a sharp deterioration in relations between Kuwait and Iran following a recent missile and drone attack on the country's territory. Earlier, the Iranian side held Kuwait and Bahrain responsible for U.S. strikes on Iranian facilities, claiming that their territory and infrastructure were used to carry out military plans against the Islamic Republic.
It should be recalled that on June 3, Kuwait's international airport was attacked by Iranian missiles and drones. As a result of the strike, one person was killed, several dozen were injured, and airport infrastructure facilities were damaged.
