A new world record related to Kazakh national clothing has been set in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan. On the day of Nauryz (Novruz Bayram) celebration in Aktau, more than five thousand people dressed in traditional costumes gathered, allowing the country to enter the Guinness Book of Records.

As reported with reference to baigeNews.kz, the Best Fest Nauryz festival became a vivid symbol of cultural unity. More than 5,500 people participated in the event, including representatives of different professions, ethnic groups, the older generation, and guests from remote villages. The record verification took place in the presence of official representatives of the Guinness Book of Records who arrived from Great Britain. The Akim (Governor) of Mangistau region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, emphasized the importance of this event:
