Kazakhstan made it into the Guinness Book of Records

A new world record related to Kazakh national clothing has been set in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan. On the day of Nauryz (Novruz Bayram) celebration in Aktau, more than five thousand people dressed in traditional costumes gathered, allowing the country to enter the Guinness Book of Records.

As reported with reference to baigeNews.kz, the Best Fest Nauryz festival became a vivid symbol of cultural unity. More than 5,500 people participated in the event, including representatives of different professions, ethnic groups, the older generation, and guests from remote villages. All of them were dressed in national costumes, showcasing the rich heritage of the Kazakh people to the world.

The record verification took place in the presence of official representatives of the Guinness Book of Records who arrived from Great Britain. The specialists carefully checked compliance with all conditions, and after several hours of counting, they announced the successful establishment of the record.

The Akim (Governor) of Mangistau region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, emphasized the importance of this event:

"Today we have shown the world the greatness and uniqueness of Kazakh culture. This is a historic moment for our country. Congratulations to everyone on this achievement!"

The official representative of the Guinness Book of Records, Richard Stanning, also expressed admiration for the event:

"The Kazakh people carefully preserve their traditions. I was amazed by the scale of the event and am happy to congratulate you on this outstanding record!"
