Israel reported the number of Iranian commanders killed after strikes

Israel eliminated at least 20 high-ranking Iranian commanders during strikes on the republic. This is reported by Reuters, citing sources.

According to the sources, among those killed was the commander of the air force and aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

Previously, officers of the Jewish state reported to Defense Minister Israel Katz that as a result of Israel's strike on facilities in Iran, most of the commanders of the Iranian air force were eliminated.

On June 13, Israel struck the IRGC headquarters in Tehran and key facilities of Iran's nuclear program. The IRGC commander Hossein Salami was eliminated, as well as several nuclear scientists. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the attack was directed against Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
