Israel called for mass evacuation of residents of southern Lebanon.

"Residents of southern Lebanon, you must immediately head north of the Litani River. To ensure your safety, you must immediately evacuate your homes and move north," the statement said.

Adraee warned that remaining in southern Lebanon could endanger the lives of civilians. According to him, Israel plans to use force against the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah.
