IRGC announced strikes on six vessels in the Strait of Hormuz

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reported attacks on three U.S. vessels and three oil tankers traveling along unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing Iran's state broadcasting company, this was stated in an IRGC announcement.

"[The IRGC Navy] struck three oil tankers traveling along unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz and three vessels belonging to America," the statement said.

It is emphasized that the attacks were carried out in response to U.S. strikes on Iranian tankers.
