Iran confirmed the deaths of the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, the head of the IRGC, and the Minister of Defense
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Iran expressed condolences over the deaths of the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Major General Mohammad Pakpour, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Minister of Defense Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh, and Secretary of the Defense Council Admiral Ali Shamkhani.
"These great individuals, whose lives were filled with sincerity and self-sacrifice, stood on the front line of defending the country's independence and security, and ultimately received the reward for their sincere struggle by attaining the high status of martyrs," the statement from the Iranian MFA said.
