Iran Appoints New Army Ground Forces Commander

Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi has been appointed as the new commander of the Iranian Ground Forces.

This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Tasnim News.

In his address, the newly appointed commander stated that the army will strive to increase mobility, efficiency, and equipment to respond to modern threats, using existing experience and the latest technologies.

It is noted that Jahanshahi replaced Kiumars Heydari, who had led the Ground Forces since 2016.
