In the USA, an escaped pet zebra was delivered to its owners by helicopter

Runaway domestic zebra, which had been on the loose for more than a week in Tennessee and became an internet sensation, was captured on Sunday.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to CNN, a zebra named Ed was found in a pasture near the Christian community in central Tennessee. According to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, the animal was captured safe and sound. Aviation crews were involved in catching the fugitive. "Ed was airlifted by helicopter back to the animal trailer waiting for him," the official statement said.
In a video released by the sheriff's office, an unusual scene is visible: Ed, wrapped in a net with his head sticking out, being transported by helicopter to the trailer.
The escape story began on May 30, when Ed arrived in Christiana. The very next day, the owner reported his disappearance. The restless zebra was spotted running along the interstate highway, forcing police to block the roadway. However, Ed managed to dodge the cordon and disappear into the wooded area.
During his "vacation," the zebra became a real social media star. Eyewitnesses posted messages about encounters with him in various places. In one video, Ed was captured trotting around the neighborhood. Internet users quickly turned the fugitive into a meme hero: in one fake post, Ed was supposedly dining at an establishment, eating waffles, in another - begging on the roadside, being nice to people.
Notably, the incident with Ed occurred just a month after a kangaroo blocked a section of interstate highway in Alabama, jumping between cars.
