In the USA, a police officer brutally beat a driver for having their headlights turned off

In the USA, a police officer beat a driver of a car that was stopped for driving with headlights off. This was reported by Metro.
The incident occurred in Jacksonville (Florida) in February 2025, but the victim only shared the video on social media in July. As a result of the incident, he had a chipped tooth, and doctors also gave him nine stitches on his lip.
"In the video, you can hear the driver asking the officer standing on the passenger side of the car why he was stopped, since 'there's no rain.' The police officer, who is off-camera, replies: 'It doesn't matter - you still have to drive with your headlights on,'" the publication notes.
The driver demanded to be shown the law indicating such an obligation, and then asked for a supervisor. In response, the police officer broke the car window and began hitting the driver with his fist on the head, demanding he exit the vehicle immediately. Then the man was pulled outside and thrown to the ground.
