In London, a time capsule sealed by Princess Diana was opened: what was found inside?
In London, a time capsule was opened that was laid in the foundation of the Great Ormond Street Hospital building in 1991. As The Guardian reports, Princess Diana left the message with child patients at that time.
Inside they found a Kylie Minogue music disc, a calculator, a passport, a pocket television, and a hologram with a snowflake. Also among the items were a photograph of Diana, British coins, a box with seeds, and an issue of The Times newspaper.
On the front page of the publication was a photo of Mikhail Gorbachev and the headline: "Soviet voters coming to the polls will be given canned meat."
The capsule was opened several centuries earlier than planned. This is due to the fact that a new cancer center is being built on the site of the hospital.
