The death toll in the ongoing protests in Iran, now in their third week, has reached 572 people.
As reported by Sky News, this was announced by the human rights organization HRANA operating in Iran.
The organization also notes that the actual number of victims could be significantly higher.
Of the deceased, 503 people are protesters, and 69 are security forces representatives.
It is also reported that more than 10,600 people have been detained since the beginning of the protests.
