During protests in Iran, eight special forces soldiers have died
During the protests on January 8 and 9, which turned into riots in Iran, eight servicemen of the special units of the Law Enforcement Command were killed.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a distributed statement from the Command.
"The servicemen died as a result of an attack by rebels who fired at law enforcement officers and also beat them with various objects," the message says.
According to law enforcement agencies, 200 people were arrested in Iran on charges of participating in armed attacks during protests, and a significant amount of ammunition, weapons, grenades, and Molotov cocktails were discovered and seized from their hideouts.
