Donald Trump stated that he negotiated a ceasefire in Lebanon
US President Donald Trump stated that he had arranged a ceasefire in Lebanon with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leadership of the Shiite movement Hezbollah.
As reported by Oxu.Az, the head of the White House wrote about this on his Truth Social page.
"I had a very productive conversation with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, and [Israeli] troops will not be sent to Beirut. And all troops that were on the way [there] have already been turned around. Similarly, through high-ranking representatives, I had a very good conversation with Hezbollah, and they agreed that all shooting would stop. The Israelis will not attack them, and they will not attack Israel," the statement reads.
