Doctors in India tore off baby's arm during childbirth

In India, doctors tore off a baby's arm during childbirth, reports The Times of India.
The incident occurred on July 30 at a hospital in the city of Mandikhera in Haryana state.
The newborn's arm, as noted in the publication, was completely separated from the body during childbirth due to gross medical negligence. The child survived and was transferred to a hospital in a neighboring city.
Family members of the woman in labor, in turn, reported that the woman faced inhumane treatment from the staff.
A specially created commission is investigating the circumstances of the incident. Specialists also noted that the medical institution ignored approved protocols.
