Baku in Azerbaijan - an ideal place to live: top-4 countries ranking from a Russian travel blogger

The Most Comfortable Countries to Live in According to a Russian Travel Blogger
A well-known Russian travel blogger shared in his personal blog a list of countries where, in his opinion, it is most comfortable to live.
1. Ecuador
Ecuador took first place in the ranking, where the blogger spent six months. First, he traveled around the country for a month, and then settled in Cuenca. "The city is cultural and incredibly beautiful. Just incredibly beautiful! First, it is located in the Andes at an altitude of about 2.5 thousand meters. Fresh air, not hot, but also not very cold all year round," notes the author.
2. Vietnam
The blogger placed Vietnam in second position. According to him, "wonderful people" live here, the climate is mild, and the level of safety and cost of living are pleasantly surprising. At the same time, he warns: "They have their own habits and traditions that may seem unusual to Russians."
3. Thailand
The blogger also finds Thailand comfortable, but emphasizes that for long-term residence, you need good reasons. "In general, in Asia, it seems like you will never become a local. You will always be an eternal tourist," he concludes.
4. Azerbaijan (city of Baku)
Another country that the travel blogger recommends to Russians for comfortable living is Azerbaijan - and especially its capital, Baku. In his opinion, it's easy to "pass as a local" here thanks to the similar mentality and friendly atmosphere. "I would choose the Icheri Sheher district or the embankment with a view of the Caspian Sea," the author shares.
Earlier, the same blogger published a list of the most unsuitable countries for living. He admitted that he would never move to Laos, considering this country "a big village."
