Another country has experienced a powerful earthquake

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 occurred in Ouazzane province in northern Morocco, in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.

According to Baku.ws, citing Maghreb Arabe Press, the information was confirmed by the National Institute of Geophysics.

According to available data, the earthquake's epicenter was at a depth of 20 km. Earlier, the U.S. Geological Survey estimated its magnitude at 5.1.

There were no reports of casualties or damage. The tremors were felt in several major Moroccan cities, including Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, and Fez.
