A farewell ceremony is being held for the Turkish military personnel who died in the plane crash in Georgia
Today, the funerals of Turkish military personnel who died in the crash of a Turkish military transport aircraft C-130 on the border of Georgia and Azerbaijan will take place.
As Oxu.Az reports with reference to Turkish media, a farewell ceremony for the deceased has been organized in Ankara. The ceremony is attended by families and loved ones, state representatives, and the command of the Turkish army.
After the ceremony, the bodies of 19 victims will be sent to their homeland for burial. Only the pilot Gökhan Gorhmaz will be buried tomorrow in Istanbul.
Recall that on November 11, a C-130 military transport aircraft of the Turkish Air Force crashed in Georgia 27 minutes after taking off from Ganja airport. All 20 people on board, including the crew, died in the crash.
