What coffee is dangerous for the heart: endocrinologist revealed unexpected truth

Endocrinologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences Zukhra Pavlova identified which type of coffee most significantly increases cholesterol levels in the body. The specialist shared her findings with subscribers in her personal Telegram channel.
According to Pavlova, the greatest threat to cardiovascular health comes from two preparation methods: coffee from coffee machines and coffee brewed in the traditional way on the stove. Studies have shown that these methods lead to the formation of increased concentrations of diterpenes cafestol and kahweol - compounds that directly affect the increase in "bad" cholesterol levels.
The medical expert noted an interesting pattern: the concentration of harmful substances varies depending on the type of coffee machine used and the regularity of filter cleaning. "Strangely enough, coffee machines that are regularly cleaned showed the worst results, because water saturated with harmful substances encountered fewer obstacles in its path," Pavlova emphasized.
According to the endocrinologist's observations, coffee prepared using a French press or moka pot shows average levels of harmful substances. The safest turned out to be drinks from capsule coffee machines - they contain minimal concentrations of diterpenes cafestol and kahweol, comparable to coffee passed through paper or cloth filters.
