Sweet cereals, pastries, sweetened yogurts, muesli with sugar or honey, white bread with jam or chocolate paste are among the most unsuccessful breakfast options. They cause a sharp rise in blood sugar levels, forcing the pancreas to secrete large amounts of insulin, which eventually leads to its overload. In addition, imposed eating disrupts the natural mechanisms of hunger and satiety regulated by hormones, the doctor emphasizes in his blog.
