A simple way to fall asleep faster has been revealed

American neurologist James Parker proposed an unusual technique that can help deal with difficulties falling asleep. He talked about this in an interview with HuffPost.
The method is based on interaction with the fingers and is aimed at reducing stress before sleep. To perform the exercise, you need to get comfortable - lie down or sit in a chair - and raise one hand with fingers spread wide. Then, with the index finger of the other hand, slowly trace the outline of each finger - from the thumb to the little finger.
According to the specialist, breathing is the key element. When movements go up the finger - you need to inhale through the nose, and when moving down - slowly exhale through the mouth.
The doctor notes that such practice not only promotes relaxation but also helps to shift attention from anxious thoughts to physical sensations, which facilitates the process of falling asleep.
