A simple test to determine excessive hair loss has been revealed

Russian therapist Alena Parshina shared important information about the normal daily hair loss. In a conversation with "Lenta.ru," the specialist not only named the acceptable indicators but also described a simple home method that will help determine whether hair loss exceeds the norm.
"Normally, a person loses from 50 to 100 hairs per day, although this amount can vary depending on hair care, genetics, and overall health condition," the doctor emphasized.
For self-assessment of hair loss intensity, Parshina suggested conducting a simple test at home: just take a small strand and gently pull it. If after such manipulation five to six hairs remain in your hand, this may indicate excessive loss of hair cover.
The specialist also drew attention to alarming signs that require a doctor's consultation. For those who have noticed increased hair loss, the therapist recommended checking for other concerning symptoms: itching, pain, crusts and scars on the scalp, as well as bleeding in this area. Upon discovering such manifestations, the expert strongly advises not to delay visiting a trichologist.
