U-17 World Championship: Nihad Sulaymanli advanced to the quarterfinals

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Nihad Suleymanli has advanced to the quarterfinals of the U-17 World Championship in Baku.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the athlete competing in the under 80 kg weight category defeated Kyrgyzstan's Ali Zakirzhanov 10:0 in the round of 16.

The World Championship is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena. Around 700 young wrestlers from more than 60 countries are participating in the competition. Azerbaijan is represented by 29 athletes.
