The list of the most expensive transfers in the history of Azerbaijani football has been revealed.

BAKU.WS reports with reference to the Transfermarkt portal that the record figure of 2.5 million euros belongs to Nariman Akhundzade.

With this transfer, the young striker not only rose to the top position in the country's football history but also made the most notable move in recent years.

In second place on the list is Deniz Yılmaz with 1.8 million euros. Richard Almeida closes out the top three with a figure of 1.2 million euros.

It should be noted that Nariman Akhundzade's transfer worth 2.5 million euros could mark the beginning of a new stage in the Azerbaijani football market.
