Ronaldo had a phone call with Trump

Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo called US President Donald Trump and thanked him for the tour of the White House.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the American leader announced this on his Truth Social page.

Trump wrote that Ronaldo himself called him to thank him for the hospitality. In mid-November, the footballer, along with his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez, visited the White House as part of a formal dinner organized for Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

"What an incredible guy he is, not only as an athlete, but as a person. It doesn't get any better than that," Trump wrote.
