Parvin Piriyev: Everyone Dreams of Becoming Part of the Sports Festival in Baku

It is gratifying that this world championship has broken the record for participants over the last 20 years.

As reported by Oxu.Az, this was stated by the General Secretary of the Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan, Parvin Piriev, during an open training session of the national wrestling team.

He noted that this is the result of the successful reputation earned by our state on the international stage.

"Everyone wants to see Baku, everyone dreams of being part of the sports celebration in the capital. You are dear to us. What matters most to us is that you are fighters in spirit. We expect from you not only success but also fighting until the end. Today you are fortunate that your coaches are Rafig Huseynov, Haji Aliyev, as well as Maria Stadnik. We are strong when we rejoice in the victory of our friends. Come to the stands and be alongside our team," he said.

It should be noted that the U17 World Wrestling Championship will take place from July 27 to August 2 at the National Gymnastics Arena.
