Italian motorcycle racer died in a crash during a race

39-year-old Italian racer Gabriele Cottini died from injuries sustained during a race at the Cremona track as part of the Dunlop Cup 600 tournament, reports Motorsport Italia.
During a maneuver, the athlete went off the track. The medical team promptly provided assistance, but they were unable to save the racer's life.
"The Italian Motorcycle Federation, the race organizers, and the race management express their deep condolences to the family, friends, and all who shared Gabriele's passion for motorsport," says the obituary published by the Federation's press service.
The organizers decided to complete the remaining races of the Dunlop Cup 600 tournament, dedicating them to Cottini's memory.
