Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) has parted ways with Fernando Santos, the head coach of Azerbaijan national team.

The contract between AFFA leadership and the Portuguese specialist has been terminated by mutual agreement. Our U-21 team's head coach Aykhan Abbasov will lead our national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Ukraine.
