# Departure of footballer Nariman Akhundzade to the USA may be delayed - REASON

The departure to the USA of Azerbaijani national team footballer Nariman Akhundzade, who recently signed a contract with MLS club Columbus Crew, may be delayed.

This was reported to Azertaj by the player's manager Tural Askerov.

He clarified that the 21-year-old forward has not yet received a visa: "The issue should be resolved next week, but the process may take longer. We hope that the trip will take place before the beginning of March."

It should be recalled that N. Akhundzade's contract with Columbus Crew runs until the summer of 2029. The representative of the Aghdam club earned just over 1 million euros on this transfer.
