Another Azerbaijani judoka became European champion
The European Youth Judo Championship continues in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
As Oxu.Az reports, in the final, Azerbaijan's representative Muhammad Musayev (57 kg) defeated French athlete Alexis Renard and won the gold medal.
Additionally, another Azerbaijani athlete Nizami Imranov (66 kg) won a bronze medal.
Thus, the Azerbaijan national team has two gold and one bronze medal. With this result, the team took second place in the overall standings and first place among men.
Azerbaijani judoka Nihat Mamishov has become European champion.
As Oxu.Az reports, the athlete won a gold medal at the European Youth Judo Championship, which is taking place in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
In the final match, Mamishov defeated Italian Francesco Sampino and climbed to the top step of the podium.
