A new Secretary General of AFFA has been appointed

At today's meeting of the Executive Committee of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), a decision was made to appoint Jahangir Farajullayev as the organization's General Secretary.

As reported by Baku.ws, this was announced by AFFA's press service.

Jahangir Farajullayev was born in 1981 in Baku. From 1999 to 2005, he received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Baku State University, graduating with honors.

From 2004 to 2019, he held various positions in companies such as Engin, Deniz Service, Gametv.az production center, AGBank, Novartis, Sandoz, and JTI Azerbaijan, and also served as an independent consultant for business development and marketing.

In 2019-2020, J.Farajullayev was the CEO of Caspiantech. From 2021 to 2025, he worked as an advisor to the CEO of Azerlottery OJSC and as CEO of LMK company.
