Why do children run away from home? - Opinions of Baku residents

Recently, cases of underage children running away from home have become more frequent in various regions of Azerbaijan.

What are the reasons for this alarming phenomenon? Why do children take such a desperate step?

Baku TV channel conducted a survey among Baku residents to find out their opinion on this matter.

"Mobile phones have spoiled people. Parents don't give children freedom. If everyone gave their child a good upbringing, this wouldn't happen," believes one of the respondents.

"In our time, when there were some conversations in the house, children were sent to another room. Now all issues are discussed in front of children. Now there are plenty of 15-16-year-old children near hospitals, and they are all taking medications," noted another resident of the capital.
