Bahram Huseynov, the father of one of the missing underage residents of the Mashtaga settlement in the Sabunchi district of Baku, shared details of the incident with Baku TV channel.

According to him, on April 16, both girls, one of whom is his daughter Aygun Huseynova, ran away from home. Despite the fact that relatives immediately contacted the relevant authorities, nothing is known about their whereabouts so far.

"My sister came to visit us with her daughter. My niece secretly gave my daughter a phone. When my sister found out about this, she took the smartphone from her. At the same time, my daughter began to beg her aunt not to tell me anything. We were sitting and drinking tea when my son reported that the girls were gone. They ran away in the rain, afraid of my reaction. We contacted all the agencies, there is no place where we haven't looked for them. There is still no news. I'm afraid she might commit suicide, anything can happen. I took my daughter out of school after 9th grade. She didn't like walking in parks or on the street. She is 16 years old, if she had a boyfriend, I would know about it," the man said.
