In Baku, illegal tree cutting caused 30 thousand manats in damage to nature.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, during control measures conducted by employees of the State Environmental Security Service over the past week, facts of illegal cutting of green plantations were identified in the administrative territory of Baku city.

During the investigation, it was established that as a result of illegal tree cutting in the Albalyliq residential area of the Khazar district, as well as at the intersection of Tabriz and Hasanoglu streets in the Narimanov district, damage to nature amounted to 30 thousand manats.

Since the amount of damage caused to green plantations constitutes a crime, the collected materials have been sent to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment of the issue.
