Terrible accident in Baku: car collided with train

A serious traffic accident occurred in the Bina settlement of the Khazar district.

As reported by BAKU.WS, footage from the scene has spread on social media. According to an eyewitness, one car crashed into another vehicle, and as a result of the impact, the car drove onto the railway tracks and collided with a train.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. However, the vehicles sustained serious damage.

Regarding the incident, JSC "Azerbaijan Railways" informed BAKU.WS that on May 27 at around 07:00, a freight train moving along the Gala-Bina section collided with a car at a railway crossing. The car had stopped waiting for the train to pass but was hit from behind by another vehicle.

As a result, the stopped car hit the footboard of the train car. The relevant authorities have been informed about the incident. Azerbaijan Railways once again urges drivers to strictly follow the rules when approaching railway crossings. When approaching railway crossings, drivers should pay attention to road signs, look right and left, and only continue driving after making sure there is no approaching train.
